Sourced from very sandy sites just above the river Acate, Vall dell’Acate is widely recognized as one of the finest producers of Frappato. The wine was aged for 6 months in stainless steel prior to an additional 3 months refinement in bottle.
2020 Sette Ponti Crognolo

90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot
This modern style “super” Tuscan is sourced from 30-35 year-old vines planted in vineyards covered in pebbles and stone. The wine was aged for 12 – 14 months in small oak casks, adding a certain roundness and polish to the proceedings.
