McClintock ‘Bootjack’ Rye Whiskey 90 proof…$42.99

The Bootjack Rye is a love letter to Maryland Rye Whiskey of the past. The carefully selected mash bill is made from heirloom, non-GMO traditional varietals of rye, red wheat and corn painstakingly stone ground in house using a historic stone burr mill. This high-rye, wheated whiskey is a beautiful blend of high-quality, historic ingredients made with cutting edge distilling practices.

Very Olde St. Nick Ancient Cask 8 year old Rye Whiskey 86.8 proof…$152.99

Very Olde St. Nick Ancient Cask is an oddity in bourbon land. Initially, these bourbons and rye whiskeys were produced to be exported to Japan, sourced from Julian Van Winkle and Heaven Hill (amongst others…). The brand is owned by Allied Lomar, who opened the Preservation distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky in 2018. This was the first Very Olde St. Nick bottling to be put on the shelves there, launched in the distillery gift shop at the end of that year. This is an 8 year old rye whisky, sourced from Alberta Distillers in Canada. Difficult to find, difficult to get!

Very Olde St. Nick Harvest Rye Whiskey Cask Strength 118.8 proof…$179.99

The VOSN Harvest Rye was selected from over 100 barrels that were aging in the company’s Bardstown barrel warehouse. This spirit was sourced from Tennessee as a part of some experimental batches; however, the spirit was mostly aged in Kentucky over the last several years. There were two barrels that were originally slated to be bottled last spring. Luckily, a hunch about these two barrels kept them in the warehouse to endure a cold winter and an additional six months aging in the Kentucky summer heat

Rare Perfection 14 yr Old Canadian Whiskey 100.7 proof…$157.99

This current release of Rare Perfection is a story of relationships and serendipity. The barrels for Rare Perfection 14 and 15 were found in the back of a unique warehouse when the new owners took stock of their purchase. Due to mutual friends in the business, the principals of Rare Perfection received a call about these sublime casks. After sampling them without any information they were blown away and asked for specifics. Turns out these ancient casks were made of new charred oak and filled with a Waterloo, Canada distilled four grain bourbon mashbill. They then aged in the single level warehouse which maintained extremely cold temperatures year round. Because of this atypical bourbon aging environment the interaction with the wood was dramatically slowed and the final result after 14 and 15 years is indeed, rare perfection.

Rare Perfection 15 yr Old ‘Bourbon’ Canadian Whiskey 119.7 proof…$199.99

This lot of Rare Perfection 15-year whiskey is made from a bourbon mash bill of corn, wheat, and malted barley that was distilled in Canada. This whiskey was originally intended to be aged in a cold warehouse for a relatively short period of time, but the distillery was sold off and these barrels were forgotten in the back of the warehouse and left to age in the cold Canadian air. 15 years later these barrels were discovered, dumped, and bottled at barrel proof. Rare Perfection 15 year is a limited release that was bottled at cask strength, 119.7 proof
