Nestled around the corner from Chassagne and Puligny, Saint Aubin offers much of the qualities of these loftier appellations at a fraction of the price. Bachelet is a reference point grower and the 2022 1er Cru reflects the village and vintage with aplomb.
2022 Francois Chidaine Choisilles

Named for a particular type of black flint found in its source soils, Choisilles is a dry rendering of the Chenin Blanc varietal. Chidaine is considered the master of Montlouis, an appellation which rivals neighboring Vouvray for acclaim.
