A blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Syrah from within the Montalcino zone, young vine fruit from high elevation vineyards are employed for this traditionally styled Tuscan bargain. The fruit profile is decidedly Sangiovese driven as one would expect with worn leather aromas and sour cherry flavors dominating.
