Mostly Sauvignon Blanc & Semillon, with Muscadelle & Sauvignon Gris
This dry white combines the citrus elements of Sauvignon Blanc with the full bodied, textural qualities found in Semillon. The addition of small amounts of Muscadelle and Sauvignon Gris provides floral aromas to the mix.
2012 Sociando-Mallet Grand Vin

55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc
Located just north of Saint Estephe, Sociando-Mallet vineyards share many of the qualities of their more exalted neighbors. The 2012 is now fully mature, having had 10 years in bottle. The wine was aged for 12 months in 95% new French oak barrels.

Located on the right bank of the Gironde, Fronsac is known for its relatively high elevation. Carlmagnus is a small estate operated by the third generation of winemakers in the Roux family. The wine is aged for 12 months in 30-40% new French oak barrels.

The Joanin in Joanin Becot refers to the lieux dit (single parcel) from which this wine originates, while the Becot refers to the owner’s last name. The wine is sourced from 35-year-old vines planted in chalk and clay. 16-18 months in 70% new French oak barrels.
2016 Chauvin Grand Cru

The 28-year-old vines at Chauvin are planted in a combination of sand and clay with the presence of some iron as well. The vineyard covers over 35 acres and the resulting wine is aged for 16 months in 50% new French oak barrels.
